Chris Badami produced and mixed Jennifer Rostock’s LP ‘Schlaflos’/WB which debuted #2 in Germany and #5 in Australia. His production of Trophy Scar’s ‘Magnum Opus Holy Vacants'/Montreme  landed it on Sputnik's #2 spot for best albums 2014. He’s produced and or mixed multiple albums for iconic indie artists such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Starting Line, and The Early November. Recently he’s been in the studio mixing Strong Management artist Dawns as well as a solo album for Jason DeGeorge. Currently he’s been busy producing/mixing the The Space Pimp’s (aka Eternal Boy) LP. On top of owning a world class studio, Portrait Recording, this multi talented producer/mixer is also an accomplished drummer.

Grammy nominated producer/engineer/mixer Rick Carson’s star is rising in the R&B Jazz community. An integral part of wunderkind composer/producer Terrace Martin’s team (Kendrick Lamar ‘To Pimp A Butterfly', YG, etc), Rick has been busy moving Omaha to the forefront of the music scene at his world class studio Make Believe, which was featured in Mix Magazine’s Class of 2016. Recently he recorded and mastered Terrace Martin’s  Billboard #1 Jazz and Grammy nominated Album of The Year ‘Velvet Portraits’, and worked with former Asking Alexandria singer Danny Worsnop on 'Long Road Home' which debuted  #1 on the U.K. iTunes country charts and Top Ten in the USA.  Since then he’s mixed and mastered #1 Billboard Jazz album Ghost-Note’s ‘Fortified’. He’s just completed mixing the solo LP for one of the West Coast Get Down’s founding members, Miles Mosley.

Nashville based Jeff Balding's hits are almost too many to list. He engineered & mixed  Don Henley's Billboard #1 debut 'Cass County' and recently finished working with Megadeth's own Dave Mustaine completing production on the band's new album. Recent mixes include tracks for superstars Brett Eldridge, Jana Kramer, Ashley Monroe, Michael Ray, and Chris Janson just to name a few. Jeff has been at the helm mixing some massive hits like Taylor's Swift's self titled debut, Kellie Pickler 'Small Town Girl, Keith Urban's 'Day's Go By', LeAnn Rimes 'This Woman', Trace Adkins 'Songs About Me', and Brooks & Dunn 'Cowboy Town' as well as recording Brad Paisley's 'This is Country Music', Shakira's 'Shakira', and Trisha Yearwood's 'Jasper County'. Jeff's projects have won multiple Grammy awards and received even more nominations. 


The Steakhouse Studio opened in 1986 and is located in the center of North Hollywood's "No-Ho Arts District", near Cahuenga and Magnolia. Built by musicians for musicians and designed to cater to every level of music professional, the state of the art studio features the EMI/NEVE Custom QUAD console, designed for EMI Records and built in 1974. This console was formerly located at The Great Linford Manor, and is the largest working EMI/NEVE in the world. The tracking room sounds phenomenal. Daron Malakian, guitarist from System of a Down called it "the best guitar room I’ve ever been in”.

Writer/Producer/Mixer Mike Pepe's been keeping busy with the Hopeless Records crew, most recently working with Taking Back Sunday on their LP 'Tidal Wave' which charted #2 on the Billboard Rock Charts. Other projects include spotify singles for Bayside and Taking Back Sunday. He engineered, mixed and co-produced 'Believe In Me' with members of My Chemical Romance/The Get Up Kids and Taking Back Sunday, as well as adding his production skills to an eclectic range of artists and bands such as ClosureRosechildJunior Astronomers and Jon Lindsay. He also worked with members of Queens of the Stone AgeHaim & Nightmare and the Cat on their self titled EP 'Color Caves'. Lately he’s been in his North Hollywood studio co-writing with Emarosa for their forthcoming  Hopeless release.
